生平
原名李振藩。原籍广东海南，生于美国旧金山。粤剧和粤语片演员李海泉之子。肄业于香港喇沙书院，1959年赴美国西雅图华盛顿州立大学攻读哲学及心理学。六岁起即在香港参加拍摄《细佬祥》等粤语片。

1953年参加拍摄粤语片《人海孤鸿》，颇获好评。在港期间即学会“咏春派”武术，在美国读大学时又吸收“空手道”等中外拳术精华，自创“截拳道”。

1964年在美国参加万国空手道比赛，获冠军。

1966－1967年在美国二十世纪福斯公司拍摄的电视剧集《青蜂侠》（共三十集）中担任重要角色。后在好莱坞参加多部影片的拍摄。

1971年回香港，为嘉禾影片公司主演影片《唐山大兄》、《精武门》，受到广泛欢迎，成为知名的功夫片演员。

1972年自编自导自演功夫片《猛龙过江》。

1973年在影片《死亡游戏》拍摄过程中去世。

1978年由替身演员完成《死亡游戏》，并在香港公映。
李小龙的一生是短暂的，但却如同一颗耀眼的彗星划过国际武坛的上空，对现代技击术和电影表演艺术的发展作出了巨大的贡献。他主演的功夫片风行海外，中国功夫也随之闻名于世界。许多外文字典和词典里都出现了一个新词：“功夫”。在不少外国人心目中的功夫就是中国武术，李小龙也成了功夫的化身。
